Freedom and Confession (2021)
The programme this year has two focal points that are topically and chronologically related. In 1520, Luther clarified Christian freedom and bondage in his treatise “The Freemdom of a Christian”. The following year his famous confession is heard at the Diet of Worms. And turing lent 1521 he returned from “curfew” at the Wartburg to preach freedom against fanaticism. We have the joy of presenting acclaimed lecturers and friends that will take us through the topics at hand. We cautiously attempt gathering for two evenings for a comparatively reduced programme. Local lectures will be materially present, while abroad lecturers virtually present.
